I couldn't finish it all, (not that it was bad) because they gave me a tons of fries! I asked for a little bacon burger and it was also huge. The food is still great! I also like the drink dispensers they have! They are super cool! You just select a drink on the screen and pour it in your cup! One thing I recommend when you come here is, when you come with your family just get only 1 large fry! Because they give you a ton!

My beef ('scuse the pun) about "5 Guys" has to do with the way they serve their meals. We're supposedly paying for premium burgers, right? If that is the case, can't this place provide trays or paper plates for those dining in? I can understand stuffing the order into a bag if it's takeout, but not for dining in. Shoot! Even McDonald's offers a tray and their whole meal costs less than 1 burger at this joint. I ordered a burger wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun. That doesn't work well wrapped in tinfoil because I want to cut into it instead of eating it like a burger. They couldn't even apply the ketchup and mayo either. they put it in plastic tubs for me to apply. If I wanted self-serve, I might as well have just made it at home or something. What's more, the table and floor were filthy. Don't go here folks. If you want a really good burger, go instead to Elevation Burger. The service, setting and burgers are WAY better. PS: I took photos but am not sure where to post them here.

Look, I don't eat red meat much but when I do, I like to believe that I'm eating some high-quality stuff. 5 Guys isn't your standard "fast food" as they cook the burgers to order and have fresh-cut fries. Not the standard frozen-patty glop nastiness one would find at McDonald's or Burger King's. At one point in time 5 Guys seemed to have the market cornered on the "fresh" burger approach. Well, that day is dead and now with all kinds of new games in town, 5 Guys has been left in the proverbial dust. Best way to explain 5 Guys? A step up from McDonald's and BK's, yet a step down from most of the other guys doing the same thing. And at this price point, you can definitely find better quality and some real cheese. I mean c'mon-American cheese?? Yuck!

Great place for a burger and fries. No frills here. Fresh roasted peanuts to shell and munch on while you wait for your order. Standard refreshments in that ubiquitous soft drink/tea dispenser machine....mmmmm love that high fructose corn syrup!!!

I frequent this location about once a week. I have never been disappointed. My husband however, received an "Everything" after ordering a burger, bacon, cheese and bun. My husband does not eat anything green. Pdro (manager) not only made good on order, but continues to apologize every time I walk in. For service, atmosphere , great staff, and great eats, dis be da place!

It's a Five Guys. Do you like Five Guys? Then you'll like this place. Servers are friendly, seating is abundant, malt vinegar is available. The parking lot can be kind of a PITA when it comes to egress, but otherwise, thumbs up.

Welcome to Five Guys Home? No, it's Five Guys Can they take your order? 4 stars for this location since they're never busy when we fancy their cow patties. Oh if only shakes were included in the FG menu. Burger, fries, and shake equal comforting trifecta with nostalgia. A timeless meal. Of course this is the better half's wish (I'll be a walking parade - I know, tmi). The LBB is my usual habit with Cajun fries drowning in fragrant vinegar. Raw jalapeño and raw onion toppings are defaults. Not much more to add since most are familiar with FG. Done.

Not a terrible experience, but not up to the usual high quality 5 Guys. Asked them to cut the burger in half for us. They didn't - no big deal. Also tried a dog for the first time and it was good, but no condiments in sight. Finally there was not a single french fry longer than 2 inches. Like we got the end of the batch. For 22 bucks for a hamburger, hot dog, fries and 2 drinks, they gotta do better

What can I say here ... Umm great burgers as always very very seldom do you get a dud ... Cajun fries are the best and I also love their hotdogs.... Get the cheese dog with fresh jalapeños.

My husband loves Five Guys but I don't like it. Very limited menu, just burgers and fries. The fries are so greasy the grease soaks right through the bag. I can find much better burgers around town. Everyone raves about Five Guys, but I'm just not impressed.

Convenient location right on rockville pike. Normally five guys provides a good product but for some reason my luck has changed with this chain. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger and got violently ill on Saturday.

It's Five Guys. you come here if you want a big meaty homestyle burger with excess amounts of fries. There's nothing SPECIAL about them (no special condiments, no special toppings, no special seasonings), but they do it right and consistently. That's what good food is about!

It's Five Guys, so of course it's amazing. There's nothing special about this location, nor anything against it really. It's semi-tucked away in a not-oft-visited shopping center on the Pike, so it's not too busy most afternoons. I do have to give kudos to the staff here though for not going nuts on the fries. Too often a regular fry means the bag is half-full of double fried goodness, and no two people on earth can eat that many fries without dying.

The first time I came to this five guys was about a year ago. My burger at that time was horrible-cold with bad flavor. I swore off this five guys ever since but for some reason decided to give it another chance this past weekend. Luckily, it was much better. I was still a little disappointed with the temperature of the beef, but at least it wasn't cold. The employees were nice and they seemed to keep the restaurant pretty clean. I loved that they all used gloves and put on new ones often. I'll probably come back and hopefully have another good experience and up the rating.

I love five guys...wait did I really just say that? Whatever... when I walk in I am like one of Pavlov's dogs, I salivate as soon as I am through the door. Five Guys absolutely make the best burger available anywhere. If they existed when I was young and felt I could eat anything... I would have my own gravitational pull by now. Made fast and fresh with great toppings, this is what a burger should be. The fries are really amazing as well. Very reminiscent of board walk fries. Oh, and they give you a lot of fries for the money. I am a fatty, and I can not eat a burger and small fry by myself. They also have peanuts available for you to snack on while your burgers is cooked and fixed to your specs. I think Jimmy Buffett would like this place.

Just like any other FIVE GUYS in the USA, burgers made to order the way you want it and fries fried in peanut oil. I must say this FIVE GUYS was hidden in a strip mall that doesn't get much business and because all the signs were blue instead of the signature, it was hard for me to find it. I must say this is the cleanest FIVE GUYS I've been to and my burger was good. I always get the same thing, little bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, lettuce, and BBQ sauce. My own western bacon cheeseburger. People always then ask, so what's better? In and Out for FIVE GUYS? You can't really compare. They're both totally different burgers. Maybe I'll have to create an "animal style" at FG to compare.

The ONLY fast food I'll eat. Nothing and I mean nothing beats a Five Guys burger and fries. Have been to this new location once and it certainly didn't disappoint. Whoo hoo...I no longer have to drive over to Montgomery Mall to get my Five Guys fix on! Uh oh...I can walk to this Five Guys location. I may gain 100 lbs. this year!

I think we all love our Five Guys every now and again and the burgers and fries are pretty consistent from one location to the next. This location in particular on Rockville Pike in North Bethesda MD, has a bit of a different story. At first glance it appears clean and normal. However when I walked up to order I looked over and saw the grill where they cook the meat and it is absolutely disgusting. This wasn't just one isolated incident but it's happened several times at this location. I think the employees feel that it is ok to clean/scrape the grill once a day. So basically your burger is getting cooked on top of a layer of charred beef from hours before. I can't imagine this being healthy at all. All of the other Five Guys I go to I constantly see them scraping the grill. I never write reviews but thought it was necessary to say how disgusting it is. I turned around, walked out, and drove to the next closest Five Guys. It's too bad because the location that I'm writing this review about is a half mile away from where I live and very convenient. Every other Five Guys I've walked into pretty much has there stuff together. I think it's the blind leading the blind here and poor management at this location. My suggestion is to check the grill before you order. If it's clean, go for it! If it looks like the bottom of your shoe after trekking in mud then run to the next one.

As always, great burgers and great fries. My first order was prepared incorrectly (I was given mushrooms instead of mustard), but it was corrected quickly and in a friendly manner. Great stuff!

Last night was the first night I have EVER eaten at a Five Guys.... Needless to say, I may never eat at a mc donalds again. The bacon cheeseburger all the way and the cajun fries... OMG and they have my Favorite brand of iced tea! (grin) I will definately go back for more!

Their burgers whether it is one patty or two THE BEST in the area...... The toppings always fresh and a solid bun that can hold its own and the many toppings!!!!! This new locale GREAT location mid Pike area......

Burgers are greasy...fries are greasy...but people come back time and time again. I'd rate this differently if there was an In and Out on the East Coast....until then, I'll enjoy the fries with some malt vinegar!

I appreciate the anti McDonald's appeal of Five Guys. I've been to a few in the area. But honestly, my opinion is that Five Guys is overrated. The burgers are honest, but they got no flavor. The fries are earnest, but boring. I'm not a foodie so I can't go into pornographic detail about what I feel is lacking in Five Guys food. Is there anyone out there like me? Can I get an amen?

I work in Rockville- in fact, since 2001, and the only reason I remember that is because I started working in this area just three weeks before 9/11 so its likely to stay with me. I've always loved this area...there's so many choices of what/where to eat/drink and back then, happy hours were just about every Friday so having this many choices in a single area was outstanding. Count this place as one of the reasons why this area is STILL one of the best around to cruise for some noshables; no matter what you have a taste for, chances are you'll find somewhere around that'll have it. Not much else to say- this IS one of the cleanest ones I've been to, but none of them are all that dirty. Mind you, I've only been to 4 of them- this one, the one in Bethesda (across from Montgomery Mall), the one in Greenbelt and one in Largo and they're all more or less the same, but this one is the cleanest. The one in Greenbelt, their paste up wall had one from someone who absolutely hated their experience and had all the requisite cuss words you'd expect from someone barely functionally literate, but they left it up there. Not sure if anyone actually looks at those at that particular location. If you like good burgers and fries from a chain type restaurant, this is really the only place to go- can't tell you how disappointed I am with all these restaurants who have these ultra-large burgers and fixings on their menus and they're using FROZEN PATTIES. I might as well go to the nearest grocery store and buy a box of frozen patties, they'd be just as good and about 1/5 the cost. Not so with these guys...and I love them for it. I've been to What-a-burger, In 'n Out burger (so overrated), Johnny Rocket's (I actually really like this place for the ambience), Elevation Burger and Five Guys outshines them all as far as burgers and fries go- no frills, that's what these folks are all about. You want a little fun with your burger, try Johnny Rocket's...it has a 50s vibe a la Happy Days; you may not get it if you don't know what Happy Days is. Great milkshakes too. However, the best bang for your buck is found here, at Five Guys.

This is my favorite burger joint. The burgers are juicy yet cooked well done! The jalapeños are always fresh, and decently spicy. They clearly aren't canned jalapeños. Sure, there's more to a burger than jalapeños, such as bacon. You are set if you choose this winning combo. Five guys gives you all the toppings you want from the list! Their fries are also excellent, seating is plentiful, and the service is fast and friendly. You'll want to put some malt vinegar on those fries to boot.

This is one of the cleanest Five Guys I've been to in the DMV. Service is standard for Five Guys and so was the food.

either people don't know good burgers or they just believe the hype about this place. the burgers suck here. blandest I've ever tasted, even when you load it with 10 toppings. and for 7 dollars, you aren't getting anything better than mcdonalds. highly overrated!

horribly, horribly, horribly delicious. If I didn't feel like I was abusing my body every time I ate here, I'd weigh over three hundred pounds.
